Profile

Alessandro Caffarelli was born in Rome on 02/06/1974.
An Aerospace Engineer, he graduated from "Sapienza – University of Rome" - and is registered with the Register of Engineers in the Province of Rome.
In the past he worked as an auditor of electrical plants pursuant to the DPR 462/01 in regulatory bodies entrusted by the Ministry of Economic Development.

He is currently involved in performing the following activities:

a) Planner and developer of PPRS – Plants Powered by Renewable Sources – for private and corporate clients.

b) Author of technical texts in the PPRS field on behalf of Maggioli (editor). Author of technical articles on behalf of the Engineers tabloid.

c) Tutor on behalf of Intellienergia and DPS_Italia - Executive planning course for photovoltaic solar plants in feed-in tariff.

d) Tutor on behalf of Maggioli Training - Executive planning course for photovoltaic solar plants in feed-in tariff in collaboration with Italian Professional Orders.

e) Tutor on behalf of CIRPSConsortium-Sapienza University of Rome in training projects funded by the Region of Lazio and the Province of Rome.

f) Tutor on behalf of the Order of Engineers in the Province of Macerata

g) Tutor on behalf of the Order of Engineers in the Province of Cosenza

h) Speaker on behalf of the Order of Engineers in the Province of Rome

i) Founding partner and COO of intellienergia S.r.l. a spin-off from the University of Rome Tor Vergata

Profile

In particular the activities of a) PPRS planning and development provide the following services:

a.1) PPRS Business-plan [PV, Wind, CSP]&[Energy Efficiency] for private and corporate clients, structured:

- on a particular fiscal profile of the potential manufacturing client, the person responsible for the PPRS plant operation;

- on the incentive systems planned in plant operations;

- on the pre-selected engineering system;

- in the siting function.

a.2) Preliminary planning to Standard CEI-0-2 introduction to request connection to the electrical mains - LV/MV/HV

a.3) Permitting – Paperwork to request authorisation for constructions and plant operations;

a.4) Definitive planning;

a.5) Executive planning, direction of works and safety;

a.6) Drafting of operational regulations for the paralleling of the PPRS plant with the electrical mains;

a.7) Paperwork to request incentive ESP tariff;

a.8) Paperwork for dedicated ESP withdrawal regime;

a.9) Paperwork for terminals for fiscal use where planned.
